The Heroic League Project: Timeline and Soundtracks

25 Mar

The Heroic League Project is a series of stories that begin in 1970 and run right up until today.  Along with the stories, they have their own soundtrack that equals the year of events.  This is broken down into it’s basic descriptions of each year and the event taking part in that year.  At present, this is just getting thoughts down in a quick format, and eventually these will be expanded to include small descriptions of locations, clothing styles, attitudes, and even political belief.

It’s long, and currently ends in 2004, though there is more to it than that.

Lewis discovers Donelda’s secret, and after a heated argument, he joins her in her fight becoming the Bowhunter. Not to sit idly by, Mannekin and Bowhunter work to stop the other three as Yellow Jacket, Canadien and Free Spirit work to cause a diversion. The battle moved slowly to the high Arctic (a plow by Britannia in a way to avoid injuring innocent civilians), it’s the first time she’s never held back with her powers. Mannekin soon learns the amulets have a program that acts like a virus to the host. With Free Spirit’s help, they are able to ‘rewrite’ the program, freeing the four Warriors. Emerald, together with Britannia, makes an assault against the alien craft, discovering they had ravaged hundreds of worlds in the galaxy. The others in the Heroic League and the Galactic Warriors seek to convince Jean Pierre to leave the standoff, but he refuses. Derrik, being the only son, uncovers the secret lair Donelda had constructed and takes up the mantle of the Mannekin. With some help of a university colleague, he develops a wing harness, anti-gravity belt, and a mask that can create ear deafening sounds. A side trip to Columbus, Ohio has Maxwell and Naomi help a cell of the Red Hand leave the organization. John Walker, Montgomery Watt, Isabella Giamatti, Joseph Chen and someone with a familiar name, Chelsea Morgan, leave the Red Hand behind. As the year comes to a close, a young woman begins training to take over the mantle of her father. Her name is Dominique Turgeon.

Raven is found, along with an agent of CSIS Paranormal Division. It’s later found out Moquette was once a member of the Sisterhood whom Mannekin took and tried to rehabilitate. It was Bowhunter who helped her fight her brainwashing. As the year closes, Britannia is called in to help stop what is first thought to be a rocket, but turns out to be a person wearing a rocket pack. Nikki Hargrove, daughter of Richard Hargrove, becomes the new Yellow Jacket.

Saying he is “doing God’s work” he targets anything that is seen as an abomination against God. Especially targetting Mannekin, calling him a brother in arms, Trinity’s death count reaches into the hundreds as he kills without remorse. Things come to a head when he goes after Canadienne and Acadia (as they are both lesbians), Dr. Fadra Englen (calling Islam ‘of the Devil’), and the new Yellow Jacket (a transwoman). The Galactic Warriors assist in an all out battle in which the Earth becomes the prize. Three heroes die.
